Our own pitch was waterlogged so we moved the fixture over to L.Scottish home pitch at Richmond...equally muddy but that was just the start of it.

We also manged to persuade the ref. to agree to the change of venue and off we went.

L.Scottish, who if they beat Civil Service next week will go to the top of their merit league, put out 21 players against us!!!

The maximum number in a league game is three but the captain said he wanted to give everyone a game so we went along with it ....disaster!!

In the first half we did very well and in fact JT ran in three superb tries and Roger converted some; we were in a good position as the oppo had only scored two tries.

But in the second half it all went wrong towards the last half when quite frankly the fitness of the six new players did come into its own and we found ourselves with four tries against us in quick succession.

We had a good team out but it is a nightmare trying to play against 21 fit players over 40 mins each way.

Not much more to be said on this one except we may well give this fixture a miss for the future if they insist on putting out 21 players!!
